Here's a picture of Derek and Dale enjoying the Super Bowl game Sunday. I noticed they both looked the same and had to snap a quick pic of them without interrupting the game too much! Derek's a chip off the old block! Speaking of old, Dale surprisingly was forced to celebrate his 50th birthday with Cooper on his 1st birthday!! He wore a flashing 50th birthday pin!! Cooper mushed cake in his own face and chewed on a fondue monkey to commemorate his!
While Cooper opened his gifts, Bella and Jax fought infront of him through the whole thing! Jax is Bella's brother, owned by Ronnie and Angie Rouse, so it's fun to get them together sometimes and let them spend some brother and sister time. Jax has outgrown Bella by several pounds. Mikiah held one of Maggie's puppies most of the afternoon, with breaks for mommy time. Cute puppies!!!
Derek and Amy spent Friday evening with us to see Mallory since she was only available that night. We got great haircuts and fun family time. We missed Tyler and Lauren, who will be coming to Wichita in a couple of weeks for a wedding, so they didn't make the trip back this time because of that.

A happy family photo taken by one of the kids. I looked over and saw Amy snuggled in by Derek after not seeing him since Wednesday eve. (Amy came early to Wichita to do haircuts, and Derek came after work on Friday eve.) I told one of the kids to get a shot of Derek and Amy. What a handsome and beautiful couple! Their friendship of many years turned into a beautiful marriage. Now we are blessed with Cooper, a joy to our hearts!
