Some highlights from March to June!

June 14, today, Cooper and Amy rode to Wichita with Dale to spend the week with family. Cooper wanted to play the drums!

Drew's 14th birthday! He is almost ready to outgrow his Mama!

Pauline spent some time at our house, so we actually got a family picture with all of us in it, except for our KC families!

Mallory's first day of work at Eric Fisher Salon! We give God the glory for the opportunity Mallory has to work under Eric!

Mikiah and Abree had matching outfits to celebrate Abree's 9th birthday on June 12.

We bought a used piano for Drew and Mikiah. Drew is teaching Mik all he knows.

My kids seem to enjoy recognizing the exact time that they were born on their birthdays. Here is Drew beside the clock showing pretty close to 7:54am, June10, 2010. He was born at that time June 10, 1996.

Here is an older picture of Gma and Gpa with Cooper when we visited Derek and Amy in May. It was a fun day with Cooper and them! We were able to see Tyler and Lauren just before they flew out of town for business/vacation that day as well.

Grandma and Grandpa Mleynek's visit

We had a nice time spending the afternoon yesterday with Dale's parents. We met with Mallory after her school was over and ate at Golden Corral. Sadly, I only got one picture. Here it is :/
I thought several times about how our youngest kids have grown up! You can see that by this picture for sure!

Instructions

I know I don't have a lot of followers on my blog, but for those who are, you will have to go through about 4 new posts to see the whole story of what I put on. Also, just to keep it interesting, some of the pictures are out of order and not in chronological order. Amy....I need some tutoring on this someday!

The Remaining Four Still at Home

Thanks to Mom, we finally got some pictures of the kids taken. She asked for one for her wall in Arizona. Thanks for your patience, Mom!

Here is Dale with the hat Mikiah gave him.

Dale's Birthday Snuggie and Other Pics

For some reason, I think Snuggie is kind of a weird name for this. I never thought we would own one, but the Williams family brought one over for Dale on his birthday. I had no idea how much he would like it!

Dale opening his gifts. He got a couple shirts and a pair of shorts for jogging and one shirt for work. Mikiah got him a new stocking cap for jogging in style. Nike, I think. He has been wearing his yellow 4X4 Walnut Grove stocking cap, which probably only Iowa farmers are going to know what that is from!!

We are going backwards, remember!

Braden, our neighbor, and adopted son for most of each day, celebrated his 3rd birthday the day before Dale's. We made him cupcakes!

Tyler's birthday celebration with Mik and Cooper especially happy on his lap!

Tyler's Birthday Celebration

We went to Crown Center first, which you will see as you go through these pictures, then we went back to Tyler and Lauren's place for cake and ice cream and family fun!

The Donnelley's celebrated with us. It's amazing how all of our kids are getting so grown up! Could this really be our little Megan???

This is all 4 of our sons hanging out along with Jesse, who has been a family friend and friend of Tyler for over 18 years now.

Here is a couple pictures to show how crowded the place was and how we were all able to sit together!!!

Look how full the place was!!!! Don't look at the funny looks on Dale's and Bruce's faces!!

Tyler and Dale's Birthdays and Misc. Pictures

We surprised Tyler with a visit to KC on his birthday! Lauren and Amy helped us arrange a meeting place and then everyone decided to eat at a Train Station attraction type restaurant in Crown Center. It seemed like a great place to entertain Cooper and hang out as a family too. An obvious blessing from the LORD was when we arrived, our group of 15 was able to sit in boothes that all were located together without a reservation! The place was packed, so this was really amazing to me!

Cooper was really interested in the train that traveled along the edge of the wall and ceiling and lowered the food orders to the customers that way. He was so cute! Grandpa seems a little interested himself!

Uncle Drew helped keep Cooper happy while everyone waited to be served by the train!

Aunt Lauren kissed the Birthday Boy!

Aunt Mikiah also played with Cooper in a train engine set up at the entrance of the restaurant.

Some more of the family partying with Tyler!! It was really fun to get together with Brenda, Bruce, Megan, and Ryan!!

Skipping to a few days earlier, Mikiah helped Christopher Ames, an independent Christian musician by selling cd's and gathering tickets for a drawing for some free cd's and books. This was held at Cornerstone Fellowship.

Here is part of the story of how the Williams family and the Mleynek family met about 4 or 5 years ago. It was really Drew and Josh who would call to each other over the fences, but here you can see Abree in her backyard talking to Mikiah in her backyard. The kids really love to spend time together and so do the adults!

Mallory had hair extensions put in her hair for a few weeks, so she looked a little like old times when she had long hair. She took them out now.

Mallory and her braids and Drew and his blue bangs. It is kind of interesting with a hair school student in the house. Yesterday, I decided Mikiah needed a hair cut, and in a matter of minutes, it was done!

Ha. My computer skills still aren't the best. I'm not sure how 2 of these appeared.
