28th Wedding Anniversary

Dale and I have been married for 28 years now! This is kind of a funny picture because Dale was pushing down on my shoulders really hard to make sure his head was higher than mine. So at least that was accomplished!

Dale and I were married April 5, 1980. Derek was born in June 1981, Tyler in January 1984, we accepted Jesus in 1987 -88 (6 months apart from each other) . Mallory was born in April 1990, Trey in September 1993, Drew in June 1996, and Mikiah in October 1999. We lost 2 babies to miscarriage in 2002 and 2003. Derek graduated in 2000 and married Amy Bauer in September of 2002. Tyler graduated in 2002 and Derek, Amy, and Tyler went to Full Sail Real World Academy in Orlando, FL, for film degrees in 2003 and graduated in late 2004. Tyler married Lauren Wilbeck Janaury 2008 and Derek and Amy gave us our first grandchild, Cooper Allen February 2, 2008!!! Mallory is graduating this year. Trey is studying for his driving permit. Drew is trying to survive being the son of the homeschool track coach. Mikiah has been playing in the mud. This has been a nutshell of the past 28 years. Our children have been our joy. We give God all the glory for all He has done. We have been blessed. I'm not saying it has all been easy, but I am saying Jesus has been faithful and powerful in our lives. We are a testimony of His presence and power. Thank You, LORD for the past 28 years!! Thanks to all of my family and friends who have been a significant part of our lives as well.
