All of the Kansas Mleyneks drove to Iowa the weekend before Thanksgiving to celebrate with the Iowa Mleyneks. All, but Dale and Mallory. They made a flight to Iowa following Mallory's school day on Saturday. Her absentees count against her, so she was afraid to take the time off on Friday and Saturday. Anyway, if anyone believes in prayer and miracles, then here is proof. Dale flew into thick fog around Manhattan, Kansas, and was unable to see while flying for about 20 minutes it was thick, then after that it was a total of 1 hour that he had difficulty seeing. Without an instrument rating, he had to fly on faith and prayer unable to even see lights or the ground. I had a real unsettled feeling about their flight and we all were very happy to hear from them when they were able to call. Mallory said she thought she was going to die, so coming from her, you can decide for yourself if this was a miracle.

A few Mleyneks around the "Mleynek table". I have been a part of the happenings at the "Mleynek table" for almost 30 years now and it is a sweet memory for me. One of many of those memoris is that Derek was actually placed on this table in his infant seat after coming home from the hospital 28 years ago.

The deer Cooper likes to look at and pet with one of Gma Nee Nee's paintbrushes. We frequented this deer over the weekend time and time again!

Amy, Cooper, and I sat in the over-flow area during Thanksmas dinner. We numbered 22 this year. (Not counting girlfriends)

After returning from the Iowa Mleyneks, Mallory did a historic haircut. This is he first time I have ever seen Amy sit down for a haircut (as far as I can remember anyway). After all the years of Amy making Mallory look great, this time Mallory was able to make Amy look great!!
